Terms of Service

These terms explain the rules for using Klikt, the responsibilities of organizers and guests, and the limits of the service. They are written to protect events, guests and the memories shared on the platform.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, creating an event, uploading media or using Klikt, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms of Service.
2. Service Description
Klikt provides a collaborative platform to collect, display, moderate, download and share photos, videos and messages related to an event.
- Create and manage event albums.
- Allow guests to share photos, videos and messages through a link or QR code.
- Display a live slideshow or photo wall during the event.
- Centralize memories so the organizer can review, download or moderate them.
3. Content Ownership
You keep your rights in the photos, videos, messages, logos and content you upload to Klikt.
- You grant Klikt a limited, non-exclusive license necessary to host, store, process, display, share, back up and transmit this content as part of the service.
- Klikt does not become the owner of your content and does not sell your photos or videos.
- You must have the rights and permissions needed to upload and share content, especially when it depicts other people or minors.
4. Organizer Responsibilities
The event organizer plays a central role in protecting guests and media.
- Carefully manage distribution of the event link or QR code.
- Choose visibility, moderation, download and sharing settings appropriate for the event.
- Inform guests when photos, videos, messages, slideshows or search features are used.
- Obtain necessary permissions for content depicting children or minors.
- Remove or report inappropriate, unlawful or unauthorized content promptly.
5. Guest Responsibilities
By uploading media or a message, you agree to respect other participants and their privacy.
- Share only content you have the right to share.
- Do not publish content that infringes another person’s privacy, image rights or safety.
- Use particular care before sharing content depicting minors.
- Do not upload malicious, illegal, hateful, harassing, non-consensual sexually explicit or otherwise dangerous files.
6. Prohibited Content
Klikt may remove, hide or block content that violates these rules or creates risk for a person, an event or the service.
- Illegal, fraudulent, defamatory, threatening or hateful content.
- Content infringing copyrights, trademarks, image rights or other third-party rights.
- Intimate, humiliating, violent, discriminatory or clearly inappropriate content.
- Personal information or images shared without sufficient permission.
- Viruses, malware, technical abuse attempts or use intended to disrupt the service.
7. Plans, Payment and Retention Period
Some events or features may depend on a free, paid, promotional or gifted plan.
- Applicable prices, limits, features and retention periods are those displayed when the plan is purchased or activated.
- Payments are processed by secure providers; Klikt does not store full card details.
- When the period included in the plan expires, media may enter a temporary backup period and then be automatically deleted.
- Refund requests are reviewed according to applicable law, payment-provider terms and our commercial policy.
8. Security, Availability and Backups
We use reasonable efforts to keep Klikt available and secure, especially during events, but no digital service can guarantee absolute availability or security.
- Klikt should not be your only long-term backup: keep a local or external copy of important media.
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.
- Promptly report any incident, problematic content or suspected unauthorized access.
9. Suspension and Deletion
We may suspend or limit access to an account, event or content in case of a terms violation, abuse, security risk or legal obligation.
- Access to the service or certain content may be revoked.
- Content may be deleted according to the plan duration, deletion requests, legal obligations or our security rules.
- We may act quickly when content involves a minor, serious privacy infringement or risk to a person.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes to the service, law or our practices. The update date identifies the applicable version. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to inform affected users.
